A career in play work can be a rewarding and fulfilling choice for individuals who are passionate about children's development, creativity, and well-being. Play work involves creating and facilitating play opportunities for children and young people in various settings, such as schools, nurseries, after-school clubs, adventure playgrounds, and community centres.
Here at NCCE we offer the fully recognised and licensed to practice Playwork Diploma, alongside specialist courses in Brick and Lego Interventions, Playful Pedagogies, and Therapeutic Play Techniques.
We are currently working with CACHE to develop a new qualification for Hospital Play Specialists, to gain a further understanding of specialist knowledge to work in a play capacity with children who are undergoing hospital treatments and how play can work as a therapy during these times.
