You will cover four comprehansive units of study within your certificate programme, which can be studied at your own pace.

Unit 3: Therapeutic Techniques for Children and Families: The unit addresses therapeutic play, behavioral and regulation techniques in family settings, and various intervention methods for family and child therapy. It includes understanding play therapy, behavioural modification techniques, and professional and ethical boundaries in intervention and referral.
Unit 4: Professional Practice and Continuing Development: This unit focuses on the legal and professional frameworks relevant to working with children and families in the UK. It covers effective case management, documentation skills, the importance of interprofessional collaboration, and methods for continuing professional development.
