Qualification Title: Level 6 Diploma in Applied Innovative Practice in the Early Years
Qualification Level: Level 6
Total Qualification Time: 400 hours plus research assessment
Average Enrolment Period: 12 months
Accreditation: This qualification has been accredited by NCFE CACHE
Entry Requirements: A Level 5 qualification in early years, or a Level 3 qualification in early years with leadership experience. You will need to be working in the setting to carry out your innovation project.
This qualification is ideal for experienced practitioners who are looking to gain the knowledge and skills to carry out relevant research to promote positive change and innovation within the Early Years Sector. This qualification has been accredited to demonstrate skills and knowledge at level 6 and is ideal for those wishing to look for a progression route from their level 5 qualification or for those who are looking to gain research skills and experience at level 6 before applying for Early Years and Education degrees and top-up degrees. Universities will set their own entry requirements and completion of this accredited qualification holds no guarantee for acceptance.
Our qualification has been developed to meet the specific needs of our learners and has been accredited by NCFE demonstrating the quality and rigour.
NCFE is an awarding organisation recognised by the qualification regulators for England (Ofqual), Wales (Qualifications Wales) and Northern Ireland (CCEA Regulation). This is an unregulated qualification and is not a nationally recognised qualification. This qualification has been accredited as a Customised Qualification and we have benchmarked the qualification’s learning outcomes and assessment criteria at Level (using a national framework’s level descriptors) to allow you to demonstrate the difficulty and depth of study. On completion of the Customised Qualification, learners will receive a certificate of achievement. The certificate is evidence of the knowledge and skills gained by completing the qualification. This qualification has been accredited by NCFE under the Customised Qualification and the certificate of achievement will be issued directly by NCFE.
